A UI to capture the ethereal mind.
The final project of my semester at Central Saint Martins was creating a series of 12 notebooks to be sold at a pop-up shop in a local art supply store. For this brief, I designed, branded, bound, and packaged a series of dream journals: The Dream Capture System. Every part of these journals was hand-built for the best possible user experience: I sourced the best papers for ink writing inside and for a soft, beautiful, durable exterior, used supple suede for dual bookmarks, and dyed the elastic closure band gray and the bookbinding nylon string brown with tea for a better color gestalt.
Different variations were made for different audiences: in addition to the formatted, deluxe journal, I created a blank edition for more-experienced journalers, along with half-sized editions of both delux models to allow for more economical product options.
