The main challenge for this carioca company was to position itself away from its previous focus on wood flooring to a major promoter of Brazilian sustainable wood.

During the brand strategy rounds, the client chose a short but very significative name: Xilo – the root word in Portuguese for wood-related processes. We translated its purpose through an elegant identity that includes a tailor-made font inspired by the material and the natural process that surrounds it.



“Innovators by nature” is the brand statement developed for Xilo. It defines the essence and sustainable profile of the company in a single sentence while having a positive association with the Brazilian national anthem lyrics.
