The main challenge in this assignment was to motivate creatives (and in turn their agencies) to enter the most internationally respected and prestigious award show on the planet: the D&AD.

The Approach
To motivate and inspire creatives from around the world we created a campaign that challenged all of them to literally "Make it a Pencil". From a "Call-for-Entries" poster that enabled the user to create a fabric pencil, to a three dimensional wooden puzzle to an origami ad you had to assemble yourself, each piece showed that while making THESE pencils were challenging, winning a D&AD pencil is much harder.
