"Alpine Nachhaltigkeit auf Hütten" (roughly translated to Alpine Sustainability at Huts) is an initiative by the Alpine Club of Munich and Oberland as well as the Geology Institute of the University of Innsbruck. The goal of the project is to analyze and improve upon the sustainability and environmental impact not only of and at the huts themselves, but of the people who visit them.
