After using Adobe Dimension on a few projects, I have a decent understanding of how to produce a slick, perhaps even hyperreal, product render. This time, I wanted to experiment with creating a grittier environment by choosing more expressive lighting and materials.
In the days before aluminum cans (and environmental concerns), it was a common sight to see discarded steel beverage containers rusting away in the great outdoors. I recreated this rusty can effect by first applying a "period" label graphic and then a second rust graphic on top.
