Chocolate Bar Packaging
Curated Codex is a vegan chocolate bar company with a passion for environmental sustainability. In their luxury branded designs, they seek to celebrate artists as storytellers throughout history. They, each packaging design takes inspiration from three influential art movements.
This project involved designing the company’s logo and chocolate motif as well as three different chocolate bar packaging designs for their New World collection of plant-based chocolate. To promote the ethics of the brand, each design was inspired by a key art movement and represents an endangered species.
A high contrast serif font was used for the logotype to showcase the luxury, contemporary aesthetics of the brand with a sense of established branding provided by the formation date of the business in a thin type.
Art Nouveau’s Blooming Berries
Art nouveau is a movement inspired by traditional Japanese artworks with distinguishing features including high-contrast line art, whiplash curls, natural curving lines, colour gradients and flat forms.

Surrealism is characterised by a playfulness that merges the real and the unreal.

Bauhaus’ Minimalist Mint
Bauhaus is an art movement characterised by geometric shapes, angular lines, segmented forms, and contrasting and bright colours.
