At Bunker Media we decided to dedicate 10 percent of our working hours to develop our own art projects. Here is the first result called "Monsters from Bunker".
The project started with the idea to turn the Bunker logo into a character named "Bunker nose", made by Joren van Suijlekom, who is a specialist at sculpting wrinkly fat gross skin folds. The other three characters have been created by Alex Okhlopkov, famous for his weird squinting character designs. We were inspired by 90s gum sticker illustrations that we sculpted in 3D and texture painted in Substance Painter. By adding clothes we could explore a bit of Marvelous designer, which was on the bucket list for a long time.
It's great to be able to dedicate a bit of the working week to create little art projects
and use those to explore new tools.
