Donauwalzer – sonifying the danube river

Sonifying the current of the river danube through electric current: The course of the danube was screenprinted in blue ink, a normal vector and it’s distance to the river was printed in conductive ink and hooked to a battery.

The latter can be the traced with a copper pen, which picks up the strength of the electric current at the point it touches and puts it out as sound via a speaker.
