VIII:Strenght (Diplodocus carnegii & Darwinopterus modularis)
It's about the girl taming the lion and what comes to my head is pterosaur and sauropod and the theory about their co-behavior on each other, pterosaur eat the mite on sauropod's body..something like that, and I put darwinopterus on diplodocus head just to symbolize the tamed-ness on diplodocus. And Darwinopterus is ,for sure, tributed to Charles Darwin.
IX:The Hermit(Therizinosaurus cheloniformis)
I want to make this therizino look like a wanderer....that's it.
X:Wheel of Fortune(Velociraptor mongolianensis & Torvosaurus gurneyi)
One of my fav from this project. This one I want it to have "return to Chandara" vibes and want the wheel to be like ancient artifact than the abstract thing like in the classic version. And there is also the Dinotopian language on the sand ,and also the skeleton of Torvosaurus is to reference to James gurney.
XI:Justice (Ceratosaurus dentisulcatus)
I have no idea...Maybe I want to draw a ceratosaurus in that moment and just put the identical items from the classic version to it.
XII:The Hanged Man (Yi qi)
In my perception, nothing can be hanged in the nature like a bat, and in the world of prehistoric animal "Yi qi "is the bat-est thing that I ever seen. So it's in and a tree sap is to replace the rope from the classic version.
XIII:Death(Archaeopteryx albersdoerferi)
This is the most beautiful fossil of all of the fossil in the world and it is one of the most beautiful death pose that I've seen in my life and it is also one of the first fossil that I've seen,from the book and documentary, when I was a kid. Therefor this is the perfect picture for me for The Death.
In the sake of the meaning, Archaeopteryx is also ,used to, mean the origin of bird like death in tarot which also mean "The beginning of new things " as well.
XIV:Temperance(Spinosaurus aegyptiacus & Mawsonia)
I just think the head's ornament of spinosaurus is similar to the crown from the classic version. And it is spinosaurus one of the most controversy dinosaur.I just gotta have it in this deck!
