A case with a difference
Calm Case is a protective phone case that passively monitors user’s stress levels through the day, and utilises integrated GSR sensors to help relax via biofeedback. Stress levels are read and fed back to you, using positive reinforcement to gain control over the body's involuntary functions - viewing yourself getting calmer actually makes you calmer.
Biofeedback in use
Integrated live wallpapers display stress levels and offer biofeedback to the user, watching themselves become less stressed as the wallpapers change. For added stress-relief, included breathing exercises consisting of morphing organic shapes can be offered at peak stress time.
Samsung Developers Conference
As one of the top five, Calm Case was exhibited at the conference, visited by key Samsung people, including the CEO, Kim Hyun Suk. A looks-like prototype was constructed by Samsung engineers for the conference.
