A couple of years ago I went to Venice, Italy, for the carnival, which is marvelous. Not only you are walking through the magical city and its tiny streets but also every once in a while you meet people dressed up in these astonishing costumes wearing and beautiful masks.
I took a lot of pictures back there and just played with some of them in the Photoshop. Using the masks and some "smoke/ink" brushes, I created this "Ghosts of Venice" series.
