Design for Cosmicomics by Italo Calvino. The graphic elements were cut from paper and assembled over a painted backdrop. These elements were carefully chosen to convey the feelings of separation and isolation to reflect the emotions experienced by the characters in Calvino's stories, especially from the first story featured in the publication, "The Daughters of the Moon." The cover was designed with collectors in mind, seeking new editions of established and beloved classics.
