The translucent house is a small-scale dollhouse that symbolises the human body, being the electrical installation and piping the circulatory system and the selected furniture the representation of various vital organs. For instance, the dark and rectangular-shaped hole represents the heart becoming a fireplace, connecting with the veins and arteries of the house. The bathroom is the digestive system and the window the respiratory system. The protective opaque box embodies the skin.

This piece was devised as a prototype teaching resource to encourage children aged 4-8 to learn about anatomy and how the body works in a relatable manner.
