The Problem?
The Issue that had to be solved was how SevGen should go about designing there cafe (Deadly Espresso) in the International Airport. However the design should educate and express Seven Generations Indigenous way of thinking to give knowledge to a wider variety of people and make a positive impression for generations to come - whether this be through the built-environment, products, apps or services?

Our Resolved Idea
How it works?
This is our resolved idea of the design of the cafe. A cargo container style look from the outside with different plants and vines wrapping around, inside on the left wall there's a big Gubbi Gubbi mural that extends onto the ground. Also on the left wall theres a interactive plaque with has information, facts and videos on the culture and history of the Gubbi Gubbi people and land. Outside with the seeting there are wooden benches, with iron sheet metal cylindrical drums with wooden tops for the tables for easy use and access. Below is an Image of the cafe with detailed annotations about all the features.
Why will this design have impact?
I strongly believe that if our design was actually put into place it would be a massive success as it is colourful bright and would attract people in, plus who doesn't get a coffee at the airport.
