Trigger Warning is my MA graduation project. It is a book about rape, trauma and their representation in western art and cinematography through the years. The aim of the whole work is to promote a representation of gendered violence that is empathic, inclusive, respectful to the survivors and non-objectifying.

Alongside with the book, I created an installation called Blue and Black and Pink and White that consists in 16 square mirrors, on which I screenprinted four poems and eight frames from the movie The Nightingale by Jennifer Kent. It is a visual and written reflection on the subjective experience of a rape survivor, its aim is to empathically communicate with the viewer by sharing the survivor’s pain.
