WAVVE — Looping Animations
WAVVE is an LA based company focused on making our planet a better place, founded in 2017 from an idea to turn recycled, single-use plastics into a useful and stylish product. Since then, they have repurposed plastic bottles, destined to end up in our oceans and landfills, into their flagship product - The Pacific Tote.
In 2019 I was approached by WAVVE to create a set of looping 3D animations for social media, showing in an entertaining and creative way how the Pacific Tote bag is created.
The process starts with turning single-use plastics to plastic pellets, those pellets are then turned into multiple strands of thread, the thread is woven into cloth and finally the cloth is turned into new WAVVE products.
