Tipos Latinos is an international typography community composed of 14 latin american countries: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela. Its purpose is to carry out the Biannial of Latin American Typography, held since 2004 simultaneously in several cities across these countries and even in a few outside Latin America. For this, the Types Latino Committee promotes activities that complement and enrich the main exhibition, such as: lectures, workshops, debates, guided tours and publications.
For the 7th edition (2017), we designed the exposition project, the digital catalog and other pieces of visual communication, such as signaling (inside and outside the museum) and social media posts. The exposition was held in Caixa Cultural museum in Brasília - Brazil.
