B-boys in Korea are world famous. It is no exaggeration to say that Korean B-boys swept the world in the mid to late 2000s.
Originally, B-boy was a culture that originated in the United States in the 70s and spread around the world after the 80s.
The U.S., the birthplace of B-boying, was able to do both living and leisurely hobbies, but South Korea was not able to afford to do B-boying as a hobby due to its living environment. So, like the story of an athlete who was hungry in the 1980s, he had to bet everything on b-boying, and many teenagers quit school or study and concentrated on b-boying. Currently, only a few of those who risked everything at the time to continue their active duty, and the majority of those who fail to do so are just enjoying their skills by quitting or living for a living.
Korea has few b-boys to lead the next generation. It would be nice if B-boying activities alone can build infrastructure enough to not worry about their livelihoods, but it does not seem easy in Korea.

This painting is a mixture of the B-boying culture of the 70s and 80s and various elements that match it.
It will be a nostalgia for those who remember America's B-boying culture or streets in the '70s and '80s.
