BIGSOUND is a music festival held in Brisbane celebrating its twelth year. In colaboration with BIGSOUND, AGDA (Australian Graphic Design Association) has  partnered up to create a Music+Design program.

 

The Lyrics featured in the poster were taken from the Australian Band Powderfinger's song DAF and illustrated typographically to communicate and interpret a line of lyrics and to promote the festival. 

The lyrics were cut out of a cardboard poster and photographed in front of LED fairy lights, to symbolise "distant light".
