We had to make an assignment for our illustration class at school, it's called Meet The Artist and you could give it form in whatever way you found suitable.

It had to include a drawing/picture of yourself, stuff you always carry with you and things you like an dislike. I decided to go for this school-theme, because it was a school assignment.

Initially I wanted to go for a different, more dynamic pose, but after drawing it I figured it looked very awkward and unnatural. Eventually I decided to go for this pose, because I think it represents me better, as I am a very timid person.
