Arrow Magazine was created as a publication aimed at design students, teachers and professionals.  The covers were designed for the first three issues which were themed colour, technology and typography.  The distinct monochrome colour palette was paired with the fluoro chevron icon in order to differentiate the magazine from others on the shelf at the point of sale.  In order to keep the front cover as simple as possible, advertising was eliminated from the back cover and replaced with an original colour image from the cover as well as the names of the feature authors for the issue.
