The (fictive) Client
ABBA Kungshamn not be confused with the Swedish pop-duo sensation, ABBA is a traditional Swedish seafood brand that was founded in 1838 by Christian Gerhard Ameln. Since the start, the company has worked to offer quality food from the oceans for people who want to cook, eat and serve seafood. The largest product is herring in all its forms, but they also have tuna, soups, caviar, sauces, fish balls and more.

The Objective 
Create a new fresh and modern brand identity to bring new life into Abba Kungshamn. Products to be enjoyed at every occasion not just on the many traditional Swedish holidays. As well as venturing into a new area, alcohol, with the traditional Scandinavian Aquavit.

The Solution 
We designed a new brand identity, with a few changes to the logo for a more harmonious feeling. With a modern typeface, simple illustrations and color coding instead of images it creates a new fresher look for the brand. As well as switching the current use of glass containers to plastic as the better sustainable option, since the new plastic containers weigh less and are more sturdy whilst transporting.
