Cropped Portraits

For the first photo I decided to crop out most of the background because it was ugly and unnecessary. I didn't want my dirty car or the woods in the background. I also cropped that part out because it was distracting and took the attention away from my dog.
For the second photo I clopped the top and bottom of the photo the most. I thought there was too much of the brown step and white railing showing which also took the spotlight away from my dog.
Like the photo before, I cropped a lot of the bottom and top of the photo off because it was unnecessary and roomy. She doesn't have the most flashy coloring, so the less going on in the background the more she stands out.
Because my dog is the main focus in these photos I wanted to make sure I cropped out the other two dogs as much as possible. I could have cropped it even more, but I liked the colors that I left after cropping it the first time. This isn't the best photo but I wanted to use it because it was more challenging with the other dogs present in the image.
I decided to choose this photo for my best composition. I took this one on my friends nice camera two days ago, so the quality is much better than the ones I took on my I Phone 6. The original photo was pretty cropped, but I decided to crop it even more to really focus on my dog. I think the cropped one shows more action than the original because less of the background is showing and more of her fur is. There is a lot of movement in her fur which gives it a more action feel to the photo.
I decided to crop this one a lot, but also leave enough of the person holding her to show what was happening in the photo. I wanted to get rid of most of the stuff in the background because it made the photo very overwhelming.
