Mills & York is a modern fashion community for peer to peer rental and resale. Founded by fashions lovers, Mill & York is more than a dress rental or a consignment store—it is circular fashion for the stylish consumer. The Mills & York platform offers curated item selection and content, promising a finer retail shopping experience. This enables lenders to rent their wardrobe and in turn, allows renters to access luxury brands without the environmental impact. We were tasked to: -Create a modern brand that reflects the company's direction and vision. -Create a product (web) to bring lenders and renters together.

Fashion is a traditional concept that is dressed in modern style. The Mills and York brand wears that premise by visually contrasting a modern and dynamic handwriting font that represents the new age, with an elegant but conservative serif font that sends the viewer back to the times of the european runway and fashion magazines. The audience preserves the youth and colorful energy that's alive in the new fashion universe. The brand itself expresses the combination of two different times; two opposite worlds. This concept has been applied to the fonts, colours, shapes, icons, UI elements, etc.
