An ode to our technological roots, this series was a chance to reflect on the great leaps we’ve seen in the past two decades. I designed these images with the intention of crushing each through several rounds of Instagram filters, an unwieldy process of repeated exports and AirDrops, but one that purposefully contrasted against the siloed nature of the consoles depicted. Whereas an experience was once confined to its port, we increasingly encounter online as a singular Place, with our digital identities forming somewhere in the space between.
