Predators
Spent a few days with friends in the middle of the boreal forest somewhere on the Finnish-Russian border/frontier. It was an amazing experience being surrounded and so close to massive wild bears, wolverines and other beautiful creatures. There were definitely some nerve wracking moments!

Spotted the elusive wolverine deep in the forest. These guys are not so easy to find with so many bears around. Soon after, a bear started to creep in and this little guy darted away for his life.
6:45am on the pond. Up early and hungry.
Encountered this photogenic guy many times while we spent our days and nights sitting in the middle of the forest. Always the first to arrive, and always eating everyone's food. The true king and supermodel.
Striking a pose. Probably hungry. In the summer, bears gain 2-3 kg per day!
Plenty of ravens and other birds flying around scavenging for food. The forest is an active place.
