COVER MUSIC
Have you ever take a magical trip? There’re only you and the road. The endless road, surrounded mountains and the desert. And incredible plants, popping up from right and left of the road. They are blooming, wriggling and basking in the sun. And you’re walking and dancing.
It’s a visual series I saw after listening to Schelkunov’s DJ mixes. Because sounds of these mixes are like a beat of majestic mountains, have a cheerful temper of incredible plants as well and mystic of the desert.
According to brief the task was to develop five covers for series of "Jungleспектива" DJ mixes.
I used a children's plasticine for making figures of flowers, built 3-D charts from paper and other everyday’s material for overall composition, and used a digital collage technique on finishing processing.
Plasticine elements was animated by stop-motion technique for complete immersion into aura.
