floor lamp inspired by a natural form.
Aurita is a floor lamp inspired by a jellyfish (Aurelia Aurita or also know as Moon-Jelly). Jelly Fish, as a species, have always inspired me. I wanted to design a Floor Lamp inspired by it. The design is symmetrical and has dome-shaped glass on top and bottom, which gives an illusion of light emitting from the top as well as the bottom of the lamp mimicking the bioluminescence of jellyfish.
