Tangible bond

I am an art jewellery designer, and my works based on people’s general behaviour in kinship influenced by modern society and culture, and explore the bond in kinship under the diversity of today’s family structure and mobility.

Kinship contains and mixes interest relationship, ethical relationship, and emotional relationship, etc, which combines blood relationship and social relationship. My work reflects on people's behavior of constraint and seeking a sense of belonging and stable psychology, trying to find a controllable balance in kinship. 

I used paper as a message carrier, combining with symbolic elements. My jewellery as”kinship license”, provides a chance and occasion for people to identify their identity. It sets in life, in culture, in society conveying a type of temporary stability.
