Freedom, the word itself stands for the power of self-determination, state of free will; emancipation from slavery, deliverance, and what not? But deep down, the self we show, the smile we put up, expressions that we layer upon, are we really free? Maybe we just have practiced to manifest freedom and not actually have it to full its full magnitude. Self-expression is something one must embrace gracefully. We all have our own unique quirks and traits, and we all have our own preferences and style for sharing pieces of ourselves with those around us. The way that we share ourselves is known as self-expression, and it turns out there are a lot of ways to do it.
That’s power in being you, a very few people do actually realize that power. We have been blindly taught to follow a few preset ways and rules of doing everything in a predefined timeline. And ones who go individualist from these norms, they will be labeled and humiliated for doing what they did. Strange right! That’s the world we live in, where “Char log kya kahenge” murders millions of dreams, aspirations, and whatnot. Sometimes it really feels we are totally bounded by these 4 people who actually set our boundaries. Inking on your skin, dyeing your hair, piercing your own body, is your own choice and you have the right to do anything to make yourself happy, you really don’t need anyone’s approval to do what you really like, That’s real freedom.
