The Dark Knight Rises App Review

WHAT PARENTS got to KNOW
Parents got to know that The Dark Knight Rises is an action tie-in to the hit summer film. As you would possibly expect from a Batman game, there's many fighting and a good little bit of stealth action. The incorporation of the Bane character ramps up the fights. Parents also will want to remember that youngsters who play the sport will want to ascertain the movie (if they haven't already). And if they need seen the movie, they could want to travel again. The Gameloft Live! opt-in feature allows players to attach to strangers, including the power to text chat online with others.
WHAT'S IT ABOUT?
Players assume the role of Batman during a story that follows the story within the Dark Knight Rises film. By employing a virtual stick, they'll control the Caped Crusader's movements, while swiping with the opposite hand controls the camera. When fights escape , on-screen buttons appear, allowing players to perform combination attacks by pressing buttons over and over. Side quests allow players to interrupt into safes through mini-games. Players can upgrade their armor or equipment through coins collected by winning fights or completing missions.
IS IT ANY GOOD?
The mobile version of The Dark Knight Rises is that the only gaming tie-in to the summer's hit film, but whereas console Batman games last year offered a singular combat the franchise, this latest effort is one that has several glaring flaws. The combat is repetitive -- and ultimately boring. It's slow to load. And it seems to supply similar missions again and again. It also spoils big parts of the movie for those that haven't seen it.
Graphically, it isn't a nasty game. and therefore the sound design is sweet . Ultimately, though, it is a miniaturized version of a franchise (and movie) that deserves something more grandiose.
