BROKENTOP FROM BALL BUTTE
Much of my independent work is inspired by the beautiful outdoor environments I explore in my free time. In the winter months, I spend many weekends bundled up in the backcountry in search of fresh turns. I created this print after a particularly grueling yet beautiful day of spring skiing on Ball Butte outside of Bend, OR. Carved and hand printed in a makeshift studio space, the craft of this piece speaks to the arduous nature of the experience itself.
