Drawings reconstructing furniture
As an ideation exercise that was a part of my thesis project, I experimented with distorting function and aesthetics of furniture as a way to explore its sculptural capacity. The drawings are based on furniture observed in various brands' showrooms to understand and document the current trends in the furniture industry. Each drawing has one sketch of the original piece to exhibit its original form and structure. The drawing tools used are oil pastels and A3 cartridge sheets.
