INSPIRATION
Pop art utilizes images and icons from popular media and is characterized by vibrant, bright colors.

The most famous/recognizable piece of Pop art is Andy Warhol’s iconic Marilyn Diptych.

Inspired by this, the pop art of Miley Cyrus - photographed by Terry Richardson - was created.

PROCESS
First, a high contrast image was required. So, the photograph was edited in Adobe Photoshop.

This edited photograph was then vectorized in Adobe Illustrator using the live trace tool.

Extra brush strokes were added to give it that slightly grungy effect.

Vibrant and bright colors were used in the different panels.
