I love westerns, from the themes of isolationism and moral consequences of choice, to the amazing stories from John Huston and Sergio Leone. But, a lot of what we associate with the masked rider stems from the Japanese samurai films of the 50s, brought to life by director Akira Kurosawa and his favorite actor Toshiro Mifune. In fact, “The Magnificent Seven” is essentially just a western adaptation of Kurosawa’s “Seven Samurai.”

On another note, I can't wait to play Ghost of Tsushima.
