E-waste: From scare to aware
Panasonic Environment Vision 2050 aims towards creating a better and comfortable life with eco-conscious measures and more efficient utilization of energy*. The brand aspires to evolve as the NO. 1 Green Innovation Company in the electronics industry and hence, works towards better e-waste management and environmentally sound recycling. With ground-breaking initiatives like ‘Harit Umang’ and ‘I Recycle’, Panasonic India has been encouraging its consumers to recycle their electronic waste judiciously. Unfortunately, e-waste management in India is still at a very early stage.

The reason? E-waste doesn’t kill the planet in a day. 

The harm is not evident as like water and air pollution, and hence, doesn’t create a stir. Irresponsible disposal of electronic waste end up burning in landfills that contaminate the air, water and soil with deadly toxins. Thus, haunting our planet for years to come.

We took this insight to create a disruptive print ad equating dead electronics with the undead. The bold move created ripples in the industry while triggering conversations on the social media.
