These works appear like a chaotic stack of unrelated images. I must say that they bewilder myself as well, for their spontaneity and absolute improbable nature. The articulation of this project is still at a primitive stage, though I am in the process of untangling my thoughts and coherently documenting them in my blog (miriamcolombero.com).

For now I can only say that these images emerged in my imagination during the Covid-19 quarantine (Italy March 2020-June2020), after years of thinking about the nature of the image, the revolution of the digital age, the future of human beings, and the ever important act of exchange in reading and writing. Articulating thoughts, generating ideas, telling stories is the feature which especially characterises our human nature, and I think this aspect of our human existence is well-worth celebrating and nurturing. This is the intention of the drawings you are about to experience.
