The creative approach we have taken for this project explores the beautiful nature of League of Legends and the unique environments that have been forged through immersive storytelling and legacy. With a central Focus on the Ionia region, we are in pursuit of balance. At the cusp, between material and Spirit realms we aim to highlight the innate beauty of the elemental attributes in both character and product. Each chair acts as the personification of our champions, as we visually communicate the fluidity, movement, light and ethereal nature of this world we seek to bring life to each design. With Yasuo’s Wind. Ahri’s Fire, Akali’s smoke and the radiant glow of KDA. We refer to these unique elemental components in new and exciting ways that demonstrate the power of mysticism and material design.

We wanted to develop a world that is distinctly Secretlab. Inspired by and reminiscent of the Ionia region, this world acts as a mystical place that experiences all forms of weather and energy. This specific environment becomes the birthplace to the characters we are portraying. The battlegrounds in which they are nurtured. With an emphasis on infrastructure, we aim to depict this environment as a monastery. An ancient place of worship where again the material realm meets spirit to form a beautiful marriage of elements and force.
