Set and Costumes Design for the ancient tragedy "Oedipus Rex'', by Sophocles
This is my proposal for the set designing, the costumes, the light designing and the poster of ''Oedipus Rex'', in the context of the scenography studio of Athens School of Fine Arts, during the 6th semester, 2020. The play was supposed to take place at the ancient theater of Epidaurus, in Greece. The scenery consists of two high 3D sculptural constructions,covered by mirror sheet, and an elevated corridor in the middle of them (for the model, i used thin cardboard and mirror sticker). While the plot moves on, the sculptures change position turning around their axis, in order to pass from one act to another. The project had been presented in a model of scale 1:100.
