KHAJA

Khaja is one of the popular traditional sweets of Odisha, India which through centuries has become an identity of the Odia people. It is one of the main offerings for Jagannath, who is the presiding deity of Puri. Made with flour, it is deep fried until golden and crispy, after which it is dunked in sugar syrup.

Jagannath, Baladev and Subhadra devi, are constantly showered with baskets of these irresistible, glossy Khaja and they in return cannot take their eyes off of it.
