Tweets on instagram, reusing content with a template

Tweets on instagram

One of the prime issues that I see on social media from a branding and aesthetics perspective is that many professional accounts often post Tweets to Instagram. This form of content often does really well, as the use of text in the image format seems to engage users. This means that the content isn't seen as a problem, but an easy way to engage followers and getting the most out of your content by posting on most platforms.

PROBLEM:
The lack of a clear and concise templating system by many creators means that they often lose an amazing opportunity to cross promote. The other issue with this is that when users look at the feed view these images (often put on simple white backgrounds) tend to cut off important portions of the post.
Showing the proposed method to present tweets on instagram. The content is in the instagram format and uses simple shapes and color variations to elicit the feeling of a tweet while being a separately designed element.
This is where I landed on but I went through a couple variations. The blue coloring is used to retain a twitter connection, though I think it could be done better. Using a couple of simple shapes here that can be reused allow for this kind of content to be done relatively easily.
Showing a method to continue the design with retweets.
This system also works for retweets with little effort. Using Twitters design language of main tweet with a small border around the tweet that is being retweeted creates good separation and draws on prior knowledge of the viewer.
It also works with a verified check. (NOTE: I'm not verified on Twitter, but if you're twitter and want to give me that blue check that'd be cool)
