VOLTA Spark is a truly universal magnetic charging cable that would last you for a lifetime. Built with premium military-grade materials and improved physical features, VOLTA Spark can withstand the tugs and snaps that destroy other cables.
It is a charge and sync cable that's a USB-C PD on one end, and an open magnet on the other. It works with three magnetic tips that can turn the open end into a USB-C, Lightning or Micro USB cable.
Design Process
Volta Spark was designed together with Metafora team in just three months. The process covered research and strategy phase, design conception, 3D modelling and final engineering part with an external company located in China. The first two months were necessary to reach the final design form, while the last one to reach the perfect engineering conform to all the industrial standards.
The inspiration to premium details gave us the perfect combination of quality and CMF construction.
This project speed was possible thanks to the use of 3D printing. Each version of the cable was 3D printed and tested with the different devices to compare dimensions and meet industrial standard of various devices. Special mention to Zortrax to partner with us speeding up our design process with their 3D printer.
