INTO THE WILD
Hi,
I'm a sharing an illustration from a personal series of illustrations I did recently, to learn more and push my boundaries. So I thought it will be sweet to share the details of this piece.
Also, I would love to share how I choose the concept, how my research went, my process behind with you all.
I always love to spend my vacations usually in a jungle, where there are gigantic trees, epic water falls, a clam lake, beautiful creatures ruling the land...
Here are some close details of the illustration.
This is was the initial sketch I did based on a photograph I found on Pinterest keyword trying "Forest".
As you can see here, I started from scratch... since it was a personal project...
I sometimes proceed with a very limited informations on sketching part...
As I progress with multiple color palettes...
I find the sweet spots where I can bring new subjects and elements.
Meanwhile everything else progressing... I check for the color values and readability of the newly added elements by adding a Solid Black Layer on top of all the other layer which the blend mode is set to "Color".
