An editorial project for the university on world literature as a zine. My choice fell on Georg Büchner's Lenz. A short story published in 1839 which describes the themes of the deteriorating mental condition of the writer Jakob Michael Reinhold Lenz. It is mainly about the course of the disease schizophrenia, which I also wanted to depict visually. So that while reading the text you get a visual impression of his current condition. Furthermore background information about the disease, mental illnesses in general in literature and in the course of history are discussed.
