Present Future is a personal project, inspired when I was clearing out my shelf and an old plastic bag disintegrated in my hands. The first thought that came was, "how much of this stuff is in the ocean?". While Singapore does burn our waste, it doesn't necessarily reduce pollution either. And not all plastics are recyclable.I've been trying to conscientiously reduce my own
single-use plastics usage and bringing an eco bag, which has made me realise how reliant I've been on plastic bags and disposables on a daily basis. This is the present, but it doesn't have to be the future.
