'Clover Stool’ is a four-leaf clover for people who want to rely on something lucky! Sets of two and three stools that can stack on each other, of course with the shape of a lucky clover! Unlike real clover leaves, all our stools have four leaves and everyone can get lucky! Find your lucky clover, seat on it and save your lucky spot!
‘Clover Stool' is a seat with the shape of four-leaf clover that can stack in pairs or threes, depend on the model. This stool is designed by Roohollah Merrikhpour for RITOON design studio. The versatile design of L2 and L3 models make them suitable for wide range of interiors, while C2 with the bright-color tops and the lighter legs, has a more happy and playful style.
The Idea behind this product is to design a stool with a unique character that delivers more than just a mere product. I embed the concept of ‘luckiness’ underneath the skin of this product, using the shape of four-leaf clover for the seating. I have assumed that this similarity of form brings the old belief of ‘finding a lucky clover’ to the users’ mind when finding it, seeing it and seating on it. If it happens, I did my job well.” says Roohollah Merrikhpour.
Model L2 is made of alder wood and it is reinforced by a layer of 9 mm plywood in the seat part, while model L3 and C2 are fully made of 18 mm plywood. All parts are cut by CNC and then glued manually. Final products come in a flat pack and each stool is an assembly of five parts. User assembles these five parts by screwing 12 steel hexagon flat head screws.
