This is a re-telling of a six word novel by Gregory Maguire, which reads: "Atop torched skyscrapers, men grew wings." I wanted to express a fairy tale aesthetic, like something out of a storybook as a nod to Maguire's work, who authored Wicked. Because of that, I played with the style and vibrancy of the colors to help tell the story, as well as a nod to the covers of Maguire's books! The panels are layered and when you click on them, they move at different speeds to show progression and depth, to add an element of fun interactivity to them.
