For this project, the task was to pick an album of either a known band or our own favorite band and design a fanzine showing some aspect of a specific album record, either for promoting it or giving information to or to just display the qualities that we enjoyed.

The album selected was "In Rainbows" that is the seventh record by the British band Radiohead. The concept used revolves around the story of the album that, according to the lead singer of the band, is about a depressive period of his due to feeling like they are just creating music for the sake of it. So the way the design is created is by the use of a CT scan showing the parts of the brain that are affected by depression, displaying them in an explosive manner.

The size of the fanzine is 31 cm by 31 cm, the same size as a vinyl record.

The font and its layout in the piece is based on how the results of the CT scan would look.

Each song has in own palette that is emulating the way the work art of the album was made.

Till the end where the explosion of colors disappear and the areas of the brain looks affected but better, meaning that the person listening has changed or is in the way of recovery.
