We have created a case study of formation of a pharmaceutical brand. We included all the steps necessary in order to bring this brand to life. Each step in the process of building brand is important and we paid attention down to details.




Formation of Name
Brand's Identity

Alivio comes from "Aliviar" meaning "To Relieve". We wanted name to represent the core of the brand, delivers a clear concise message and yet stand out among the rest of competition.

We chose this because of the concise and clear message and is touching pain point. People want relief from the drugs they use hence name is assuring & affirming. We are not selling drugs, we provide patients relief. 



Designing Brand's Icon
Symbol of Hope

Formation of symbol was built gradually, started with the shape of pill. Reshaping it to mean something more, the final shape is representation of hope that 'Alivio Pharma' instills in it's users.



Brand Typography
Alivio Font

We were looking for a font that is bold, but still has a friendly vibe to it. We chose 'Jost'  from Google Fonts (https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Jost) because of it's unique form then reshaped and added smoothness to edges. 

Bundled perfectly with our all time favorite san-serrif font Roboto as secondary font (https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Roboto). These will be the guidelines for typography for "Alivio Pharma"
