The design brief for this project was to create a collection of survival kits based around a fictitious brand. My approach to this project was to try and find a solution that promoted sustainable practices. The idea behind the Mend kits was to promote the practice of consuming less: Don't buy more stuff. Mend what you have.

By providing the user with the means of mending their possessions, this collection of three modular kits minimizes the need to buy more and more stuff. These kits contain all the necessary tools to mend everyday stuff--- be it torn jeans, a broken lamp, or ailing health. Reusable or recyclable materials were used to create the packaging in order to minimize waste.
